Blueprint Store FAQ
Everything you need to know about finding, ordering and receiving blueprints from the Balkan Kings BPC Store.
Shopping & Availability
Do I need an account or website login?
No. The BALKS Blueprint Store is designed to be used without creating a customer account. You can browse the catalog, use the player tools and submit an order directly.
Does “Available” mean the blueprint is actually in stock?
Yes. The store inventory is synchronized with BALKS corporation inventory through EVE ESI. The displayed quantity is the amount currently considered sellable by the store. ESI itself can cache inventory data, so a very recent physical inventory change may take some time to appear.
Why can a blueprint disappear or its quantity change?
Another player may have ordered it, the inventory may have been moved, or a later ESI synchronization may have confirmed a stock change. The cart cannot guarantee stock until the order is submitted.
Why are some blueprints not shown?
Blueprints with no configured store price are intentionally hidden so an unpriced blueprint can never be purchased for 0 ISK. Items outside the configured store inventory are also excluded.
What does Recently Added / Back in Stock show?
It highlights up to four of the newest qualifying additions or restocks. The section is collapsed by default; click its heading to open it.
How do search and categories work?
Use Advanced Blueprint Search to filter by name and blueprint attributes. Selecting All Blueprints, a category, or a subcategory clears the active search filters and opens a clean catalog view.
Blueprints, Runs, ME & TE
What do Runs, ME and TE mean?
Runs is the number of manufacturing runs on a BPC. ME is Material Efficiency and TE is Time Efficiency. The store shows these values for each applicable blueprint variant so you can choose the copy that fits your project.
Can the same blueprint appear more than once?
Yes. A blueprint can have several variants with different Runs, ME or TE. They are treated as separate store variants because they are not interchangeable for every industry project.
Does the store include Reaction Formulas?
Yes. Configured Reaction Formula inventory can be synchronized and sold alongside normal blueprint inventory. Reaction Formulas may appear as BPO/formula-style records rather than run-limited BPCs.
What is Blueprint Cost?
Blueprint Cost in the Build Project / Calculator is the current BALKS store price of the blueprint copies selected by the project planner. It is separate from the estimated Jita material cost.
Player Tools
What is Query / List Purchase?
Paste a multiline shopping list such as
Heron 20, Avatar 5 and Wyvern 1. The tool matches each name against current store inventory and proposes the requested quantity when possible. If stock is short, it proposes the maximum available quantity; you can still reduce the quantity before adding the results to your cart. What happens if Query / List Purchase cannot find enough copies?
If only part of the requested quantity is available, the tool shows the shortage and lets you buy the available amount. If none are available, it points you to the BPC Request / Wishlist system.
What does Build Project / Calculator do?
Select a final blueprint and number of build runs. The planner lists required materials/components, looks for matching BPCs in the BALKS store, estimates Jita material cost, adds applicable Blueprint Cost, and estimates project profit and margin.
How does the project planner choose BPC runs?
It compares the required runs with the runs available on store BPCs. For example, if a component needs 23 runs and the suitable BPC available has 40 runs, the planner selects one 40-run BPC rather than 23 copies.
Are calculator values guaranteed?
No. They are planning estimates. Market prices can change and the estimate does not necessarily include every facility bonus, tax, industry job fee, invention probability or hauling cost.
Cart, Orders & Delivery
How do I place an order?
Add the BPCs you want to the cart, review quantities, continue to checkout, enter your EVE character name, select the delivery location and submit the order. There is no online payment step in the store.
Where can my order be delivered?
The checkout currently offers C-J6MT (default) and W2T-TR as delivery locations.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
BALKS targets delivery within 24 hours of ordering. Actual timing can depend on staff availability and the order queue.
How can I check an existing order?
Use My Orders / Lookup and the identifying information from your order to check its current status.
What do the order statuses mean?
An order progresses through the store workflow until it is completed or cancelled. A completed order means BALKS has marked the store order fulfilled. Recently completed stock can remain temporarily reserved while ESI catches up with the physical inventory change.
Why can my cart change after I added something?
The store rechecks live sellable quantities. If another order consumes stock before yours is submitted, the available quantity can change. This helps prevent the same physical blueprint stock from being sold twice.
Wishlist, Restocks & Help
What if the BPC I need is not available?
Use BPC Request / Wishlist. Enter the blueprint you need and your character information so BALKS can review the request and contact you in game when appropriate.
Can I request a specific Runs / ME / TE combination?
Yes. Include the blueprint and the requirements that matter to your build in the request. Availability is not guaranteed, but the details help BALKS understand exactly what you are looking for.
I found a problem or have a question. How do I contact BALKS?
Use the Feedback / Question option on the Blueprint Store and include your EVE character name so the team can reply in game. For a missing blueprint, use the Wishlist instead so the request can be tracked properly.
Why might the store sometimes take longer to refresh?
The storefront itself can update quickly, but EVE ESI applies cache timers to corporation inventory endpoints. A manual refresh cannot force ESI to return newer data before CCP’s cache expires. The store therefore protects active/recent orders while waiting for ESI to confirm inventory changes.
